About me

As a kid, I was a child with great experimental appetite and a lot of imagination. Later in life, in parallel with my illustrative work, I have always painted pictures in oil, where I get inspiration from my inside world that builds more on feelings and creativity and where the pictures can take place.

My first job was on a book publisher who published professional books, where I first got to illustrate perfect pictures that were always depicted from reality. I spent two summers on the Bergius Botanic Garden and painted medicinal plants directly from nature and at the Natural History Museum to depict different animal species.

Later I ended up in the advertising industry. There I learned to find different ways to produce suggestions for illustrations as quickly as possible. There I also got to experiment and it was always important to quickly get visions for illustrations to different jobs. I worked with many different people, which certainly contributed to my social skills.

When I later settled in a forest on the coast of Norrland, I retrained and became a picture teacher. However, painting was there all the time and grew more and more. So when I moved back to Stockholm, I came to the conclusion that it was after all art, illustration and design that I was best at. There I am now and I hope that I will have interesting meetings and fun assignments in the future, because a creative leopard never changes its spots.

Om mig

Som liten var jag ett barn med stor experimentlust och mycket fantasi. Senare i livet har jag parallellt med mitt illustrerande alltid målat bilder i olja, där jag hämtat inspiration från min inre värld som bygger mer på känslor och fantasi och där bilderna får ta plats.

Min första tjänst efter skolan var på ett bokförlag som gav ut fackböcker, där fick jag den första tiden illustrera perfekta bilder som alltid avbildades från verkligheten. Jag satt två somrar på Bergianska trädgården och målade medicinalväxter direkt från naturen och på Naturhistoriska museet för att avbilda olika djurarter.

Senare hamnade jag i reklambranschen. Där lärde jag mig att hitta olika maner för att så snabbt som möjligt ta fram förslag till illustrationer. Där fick jag experimentera och det var alltid viktigt att snabbt få fram visioner för illustrationer till olika jobb. Jag jobbade med många olika människor vilket säkert bidragit till min sociala kompetens.

När jag senare bosatte mig i en skog vid Norrlands kust, skolade jag om mig och blev bildlärare.
Måleriet fanns hela tiden och växte mer och mer. Sedan flyttade jag tillbaka till Stockholm och kom då fram till att det ändå var konst, illustration och design som jag var bäst på. Där är jag nu och jag hoppas att jag kommer att få intressanta möten och roliga uppdrag, för de kreativa ränderna går aldrig ur.
